Every year, San Joaquin Valley Town Hall strives to find the best speakers to inform, educate, and entertain! See this year’s list of speakers here. All regular lectures begin at 10:30 a.m. The annual “Special Evening Event,” which is purchased separately from the season ticket, takes place in the evening. Meacham, a Pulitzer Prize winning historian, celebrates the songs that define the American experience in a patriotic presentation, showcasing historic songs recorded by country music star Tim McGraw.

Verghese, a physician, best-selling author, and Stanford professor, eloquently draws on history, literature, and medical experience to reveal why human touch and the patient’s story are vital to doctor-patient relationships.



January 20, 2021 | 10:30 a.m.

Sartore, award winning National Geographic photographer, takes us on his worldwide adventures, camera in tow, to share his incredible experiences building a Photo Ark that documents 12,000 vanishing species.



February 10, 2021 | 10:30 a.m.

Reichl, author, restaurant critic, editor, and chef, with a 50 year career in food, weaves a delectable tale of America’s food journey and shares life lessons from the kitchen.



March 17, 2021 | 10:30 a.m.

Steves, a beloved PBS TV personality and travel writer, shows us how travel broadens our global perspective – all while having the time of our lives!



April 21, 2021 | 10:30 a.m.

Gupta, a MacArthur “Genius” Fellow, delivers a symphonic message about music as an instrument for healing, which will conclude with a special musical moment with Fresno Philharmonic Music Director Rei Hotoda.
