KOBIE BOYKINS
NASA Chief Engineer, Mars Expert, Exceptional Service Award Winner
In more than 25 years at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Kobie Boykins has worked on every Mars mission since Pathfinder. He designed solar arrays powering the rovers that sent back images and data, leading to the discovery that there was once water on Mars. Currently, he leads NASA’s Europa Clipper mission to determine if surface ice on Jupiter’s Europa moon holds water beneath it, indicating the capacity for life. Boykins takes us on a journey to a world beyond.
