After experiencing a new lecture series in San Francisco, Mrs. Clio Lee Aydelott was hooked. As a writer from Hanford who belonged to a “letters society,” she and her colleagues convinced Dr. Alan Rappaport to bring the unique format to Fresno to enhance the intellectual and cultural life in the Valley.

Nearly 90 years later, San Joaquin Valley Town Hall continues to bring the best and brightest to our Valley. Thanks to all the wonderful and curious people who attend and support Town Hall, we are also able to host local students free of charge, and offer live streaming and Certified Sign Language Interpreters for all talks.
